irc.gemster.info is back

Yes irc.gemster.info is back and is as good as ever. We have been inproving our sytems and services, we are useing the new and updated unrealircd and anope.
If your are a nice chatter, love to meet and make new freinds, enjoy a laugh and are a keen chatter why not come along and chat with all the people on our server.

I see a lot of people asking " What is IRC ", Well IRC stands for " Internet Relay Chat" and this is based on a ircd server so you can chat to people all over the globe.
IRC is a great place to make new freind from across the globe or to find freinds in your area. You will need a chat mirc client to use IRC , Dont worry we also have that here for you if you dont already have one.

I bet that your wundering what makes IRC Chat better or different from other chat places like msn or yahoo. IRC Chat is the biggest growing chat server on the net, you dont need to add contacts, you chat to many people at once, chat to people in private, make your own chat room, invite all your freinds, have full control over people in your chat room, request a vhost which is very cool, request a bs bot to look after your chat room while you are away and much much much more. To be honest it would take to long to long to add all features and commads here and would tke more than 1 page.

IRC is safe and you have full control of who you chat to may it be just 1 or 100 people.
If someone says something that you find offencive you can kick/ban them from your chat room if you have one or speek to a member of staff that will look into the incident for you and take the relevent action. All members of staff are there for your need to make chatting more fun and enjoyable for you so please dont feel shy to ask a member of staff and question you like.

Please dont ask to be an oper as your request will be denied, But as our server grows we may need to take on additional staff therfor we will ask someone to become an oper.
If you feel that a member of staff are abusing there oper status please speak to another member of staff or me (DJ_Gemster2) and we will investigate any complaint to its full extent and take the relivent action, No oper abuse will be tolated on our server.
